Let me guess…..your mailbox is stuffed to the gills with advertisements, announcements, reminders and brochures about the upcoming open enrollment period? Brochures with happy, healthy seniors frolicking in the fall leaves, biking on the rail trail and picnicking at the beach. Each is trying to convince you that if you switch to their plan, you can be that happy too! In 2017, there are 23 different prescription drug plans available in New Hampshire. Each of these plans is great, but there is only one (or two) that is great for you. Even still, the plan that was great for you last year, may not be the best one for you next year. If you’re not paying attention, it could cost you hundreds or thousands of dollars.
How do you navigate the tiers, copays, deductibles, and premiums to decide which plan is the right one? That’s where we come in. We can begin discussing drug plans with you on October 1, and you can enroll in a plan anytime between October 15 and December 7. We will soon be posting a tutorial to show you how you can do this on your own using medicare.gov (really….you can do it by yourself it’s that easy!). But we’re happy to help, or to even guide you or give you advice and recommendations if you get stuck.
So give us a call and let’s figure this out together. We’ll be working around the clock until midnight on December 7. We strive to make sure everyone has what they need in 2018.
